I only know what a couple of these are- will be doing aquarium fun stuff this weekend and wanted to know if I should be setting up CO2 for these plants?

It depends on what type of plants you are keeping as well as what your lighting, substrate, and fertilizers are if any.
If these are beginner plants that are easy to keep like Java moss, anubias, Java fern then you shouldn't need to dose. List your plant stocking and I'll be happy to tell you what the requirements are for keeping them

Those plants don't necessarily need Co2 to survive in fact they'll grow quite well without it. However if you want to set up a Co2 system it will definitely promote even more growth in these plants then if they had no Co2 in their tank. But you can definitely be able to grow these without Co2 as long as you give them at lest 6-8 hours of light a day and weekly water changes.

TankOn 35 I do 10% every saturday like clockwork. The moonlight is on at dawn and dusk with the regular light on during the day. the lights are off when I go to bed. I think I will design and hook up a DIY CO2 diffuser system and just make it low setting. just right into the back of the filter, correct?

You can put it in the tank too I'm pretty sure, but I think the filter would be a good place to run the Co2 in as it will disperse the Co2 evenly among the tank. Good luck with your plants it sounds like your on the right track!

If you run co2 you will most likely need ferts too, if you're not already doing those. You'll run into nutrient deficiencies otherwise. With higher rates of photosynthesis comes higher need of nutrients.

So, I got the DIY co2 going- works like a dream, I love it. 1 bps, directly into the filter compartment. was quick, easy, and cheap to do!

May I ask what kind of system you did and rougly how much did it cost? I'm looking at this option myself. Thank you.

If ur fish stocks outnumbered the plants so CO2 is not necessary.... but if ur plants outnumbered the fishes so u better get CO2 right away!!
