First betta tiny red dots on his scales in a line

Hello all! I’ve been reading this forum non stop to learn about my first betta fish Fin. I brought him home and he lived in a gallon bowl with an air pump and gravel while I setup his 5 gallon cube.
In his 5 gallon
I have a HOB filter from Amazon rated for 10 gallons. Fluval m50 heater and air stone. He hates his air stone. Also lily bulb, betta bulbs, Anubis, onion bulb, hornwort, duckweed, another floater, hyacinth, Java fern, and that tall grass.
After 5 weeks my water tank had cycled and he’s lived there since February.
i tested his tank today and ammonia was maybe .5 nitrates 0 nitrates .5
Today is his weekly cleaning dayI had a clay pot from Amazon that came painted black, after the first week in the tank I took it out to vaccum under it and the paint smuggled off on my fingers. So 86ed.
I also have two pieces of polish petrified wood pieces glued to suction cups so he can rest at the water line.
I tested my tap water to day and my ph was 8.2 and I couldn’t get it below 7.5 with prime so I bought spring water and have his that.
when I brought him home in his cup he had a hole in his top fin and fin rot on his tail and clamped ventral fins. I used betta fix for a week and his tail has not been slowly growing for 3 months now but his kinks make he sad at the tips.
But my concern is the little red dots that got in a line down his body and a few on his face. I can’t seem to find anything about the spots? So *maybe* I’m just over obsessing on him? Also he lost his scales on his face on his silk and plastic hammock. Now there is no more plastic and he’s healing.
also if anyone could tell me what kind he is would be great the tub said butterfly dragons ale I think

Honestly I don’t see anything wrong with him. The redness just looks like coloring

The red dots are just coloring. Mine has something similar. He was also white when I brought him home and he turned orange after a few weeks. The color changed started off with dots, like yours.

Mine is dappled in black now.

Gorgeous fish btw. I can see some of the fins are damaged but it'll heal in time.
