Fire mouth cichlids in community tank

I have a 260 gallon community tank with a variety of none aggressive an angle fish in it. I have small to semI large fish in there. I was wondering if it was possible to put 1 or 2 fire mouth cichlids in there with them an not have problems.

Welcome to FishLore!

Could you tell us what else you have in the tank besides an angel fish. Thanks!

I personally wouldn't add them with these tankmates. I'm afraid your smaller fish might get eaten and the aggression during spawning would stress the Clown Loaches.

Ok. Thank you I really appreciate it. What about rams? Are they less aggressive than firemouths?

In a tank that size I would think Rams would have room to claim territory without upsetting the other occupants and their mouth isn't big enough to eat the smaller fish.

How many Clown Loaches do you have? This is the perfect size for a loach tank.
