My lfs has these lights in stock.

Finnex 24/7 planted+ V2 CC
Fluval Aquasky 2.0
Finnex Fugeray planted+

My aquarium is 48" 21" deep

Which one would work better for plants or are they all good and pick the cheapest?

I have the finnex 24/7 on my 55 ( which i believe you also have a 55 ) and my plants do very well... I used the 24/7 mode but it caused algae so i switzched to the bright setting for 8 hours and it made a big difference. never used the other lights so can't comment on those sorry.

Yes 55. I have a timer for my light. Is there a good plant light that doesn't have all the modes? Cheaper? I was just looking what my lfs had in stock

Thats my only deep tank so thats what i went with for my 55... But actually i have a 29 that was my outside tank that i moved inside and added a nicrew sky led to it and its continued to grow plants very well but i think it could also be cause its organic soil capped with PFS and when it was outside it was getting a ton of sunlight and totally exploded with growth so i can't give the Nicrew all the credit

Right now I have a T8 Life glo 6500k bulb that seems to be doing fairly well. Its about 6 months old now so I was looking to buy a bulb or new light

I would say depending on the bulb or new light price difference would be the deciding factor for me... I lovethe looks of LED's on my tanks. But then again i never used any tubes so can't comment... Still learning new things everyday!!

Yes i do and it's looking great :)!!! For that price if your plants are doing well then i would stick to that light and replace the bulbs when they need to be changed ( 6-8 months? )... I thought they were more expensive

T5s are pretty pricey. The T8 are like a standard size work light bulb...

Gettin confused . are you looking to upgrade to a T5 or stick with your T8? Like i said no experience with tubelights for plants. I'm all about LED's but if the T8 is woring for you with plant growth then stick with those otherwise i would absolutely reccomend the Finnex planted 24/7 for your 55....here is my 55 with a 24/7 that’s been running for over 2.5 years without a glitch

I think i have the first generation 24/7... But i believe they hqve since upgraded their 24/7 mode to have total darness compared to mine that still has a moonlight if i do the 24/7 mode and thats why i went with the totwl brightness for 8 hours a day.

I bought a Fluval Aquasky today. Petsmart actually had it on the shelf. My lfs said they carried some various LEDs but didnt have any 48" ones. The tag on the shelf was 10$ less than the website ;)
