Finished tank

Sigh. I'm finally content with my tank setup. I have a 10 gallon tank with 1 dwarf gourami, a STUNNING crowntail betta, 2 tiger barbs, and 1 albino barb. Along with them, I have 11 trapdoor snails (unexpected pregnancy) and an African Dwarf Frog. I have a heater and filter, along with an abundance of plants. I'm very happy, but probably not done! I've already put $200+ into this tank. So, why stop now?

 

All those fish are in a single 10 gallon?

 

Cool tank. You've got some stocking issues however. Whether you want to sort them out or not is up to you.

 

Yes. All in one tank. And I'd really like to leave my tank alone. I'm aware that my DG and betta are known for aggressiveness, but I've struck gold with these too. They're the sweetest and don't bother each other. My fish are happy and so am I. But thank you.

Also, thanks for being so polite. I've had other people blow up on me for having 5 goldfish in 200 gallons

 

There are more pressing issues in the world as far as I'm concerned. It's not ideal, but as much as we all love fish here sometimes we forget that they're just fish.

I'll probably get bashed for that, but so be it.

 

Similar to eating dogs. They are just meat.


I would fix your stock. What you may see and like now isn't what you will see in the future. Gourami and betta will fight. Betta will kill once they come to size. Barbs still terror both anatabatoids. And frog can kill or damage fish.

Just stating problems that you will see in the future. Nobody is bashing you. If you don't want people to give you advice I suggest closing the thread. That way people can see and it'll go into archive later.
