I mentionned it in a few posts recently. And finally.. Yesterday it happened. I got my second aquarium!

Its a tetra 5 gallon starter kit. + a heater

I put an 'old' filter sponge inside the filter instead of the cardtridge.. To help it cycle. (The sponge was in my 23 gallon's filter)

Put gravel and transferred a few live plants. No pictures yet because 1. Im not home 2. Glass was full of bubbles.

...i also stole my sister's sick betta. His only symptom is clamped fins.. And he hid all the time. In the 5 gallon he stays near the surface and swims abit more. He breathes from the surface/blows bubbles. But still has extremly clamped fins. His fins are so clamped that when he swims he seems to wiggle.

    I was planning on that!

The 5 gallon was supposed to be the home of my wild betta. But i guess he\she can live in the 23 gallon abit longer~

Atleast until the other betta does better..

yup. i like the look of them more then fake plants.

im planning to add a decoration in front of the whisper filter to hide it..

Rocks and wood can be nice, but you can also hide it with a bigger plant... but it can lead to pruning work. Granted you then monthly sell off the pruning at your locale club... lol.

lol, i put in some of my java fern babies in this 5 gallon, because my plant had tons. xD
(about my sister's betta. im happy to say he seems to be recovering. atleast he is swimming alot more then before and started looking for food in the gravel. instead of hiding in plants.. staying at the surface and not moving)
