Finally Got A Flowerhorn!

I finally took the leap and got a little baby flowerhorn for my 75 gallon tank. He looks tiny in there all by himself but he seems happy so far. Already eating and coming up to the front of the tank. I ended up picking him out because he was chasing all the other flowerhorns in the pet store tank to the back so that he was the only one in the front and when the guy at the store put the net in to get him he swam right in. Not the best picture but he won't hold still for a better one

That's how I pick fish too, the biggest & meanest. Your FH looks to be male. Good luck with him.

Beautiful Flowerhorn! Out of curiosity, how much did you get him?

The FH looks like the Red Dragon type sold at my area Petsmart. Usually cost $15 - $25.

Wait, since when does Petsmart sell Flowerhorns?!

Only at the big Petsmarts. They sell Red Devils & Red Texas Cichlids too.
I've seen Petsmart sell Red Devils, but never Flowerhorns.

Great looking fish! I want a lot of big tanks with a lot of species both large and smallerish.. Flowerhorn is a new addition to the list!!

I have had this guy for like 3 days now and his hump seems to have grown quite a bit.
