When I first planned my 20 gal stock I wanted 10 Pygmy cories. But none of the lfs could get ahold of them. Finally someone on the other side of the island just got them in .
Originally I was gonna buy corydoras sterbaI for the 55 gallon but was told they hardly get them in the lfs. So when I heard the found pygmys I was stoked. Since the 9 corydoras trilineatus will be moving in to the 55 gallon and I was planning on putting the 10 pygmys in the 20 gallon will sharing tanks with 3 guppies. When the momma guppies get pregnant I'll move them to a separate tank to drop fry and move them back when they finish. So at one point there will only be 1 male guppy in the Pygmy tank.
My question is could I fit more Pygmy cories in my 20g? Or is ten good enough? Wanted to try my hand at breeding them.
