Finally Finished New Tank

I have been working on this tank since January, and finally, its finished. I planted it with three java ferns, some guppy grass, and some val grass. I have one minnow in there right now, but I’m going to get him some friends soon. The light is currently off, because I just added him in a half hour ago, but I think he is very happy now!

Looks pretty sweet! I’ll be interested to know how you deal with the sunlight coming in the windows. I have a tank setup similarly close to a window and blacked out the back of the tank; but I still am battling major algae issues.

The things behind the tank are actually mirrors and the windows above are opaque and hardly any light passes through them!
