Well after about a month and not getting any more ammonia readings or ever getting nitrite readings I stumbled upon the shake bottle two for nitrate reading and bam 20ppm after a month. Now I need to do a water change and add some more friends to my schools. The ammonia in the pic looks green from pic but its light yellow and it used to go green after letting it sit. I think its contaiminated as I did have one that I let sit go orange after letting it sit all day on monday and tues which it never did to me before.

This is the atempt at adding more bio filtration to my topfin filter. An ac30 biomax bag.

This site def has the info for this. The hardest part is patience which seems to always be the case lol.

Welcome to fishlore, both.

Yes, patience is a thing you will need much, when dealing with this hobby. Don't forget we're dealing with live animals, not with coins, baseball caps or modelling trains...
But your patience will be rewarded.

About cycling your tanks, my best advise is to read the information on the subject (f-forum and www).
The water tests will say how long you got to wait for the right colour. Nitrate test always has a bottle that needs intense shaking - part of the reagent is in the form of crystals, that need to be dissolved prior tu use.
Don't get ammonia above 6-7 ppm, as that will have the effect contrary to the desired (killing the bacteria, instead of feeding them).
Fishless cycling takes at least 3 weeks...

Welcome to fishlore! Congrats on the cycle to one of you, and good luck on being patient to the other one. I remember fishless cycling my tank in March drove me nuts, but it was totally worth it. All the best! Joanna

I wonder whether that was shorthand for fishlore forum and world wide web.

Exactly.
Sorry for using abbreviations; f-forum should have been FL-forum (FishLore-forum), www is short for internet/world wide web.
