    Hello All,

I have 5 tiger barbs in a 10g that's heavily planted with Christmas Moss and other plants. I also have one nerite snail. I've done some water changes and also partially cleaned the filter. I think it's time to start using medication. Can you recommend one that doesn't need extra oxygenation and safe for plants and the snail?

I know the 10g is too small for the Tiger Barbs but I moved them from my Dad's 40g b/c his Tinfoil Barb was eating them (used to be 8-9 tiger barbs).

Your help is greatly appreciated .

In a 10 gallon, I don't think there will be much you can do for them. Do you know what your water parameters are?

Unfortunately, I don't. I may have an API kit somewhere but I'm sure it expired.

Btw - Thanks for such a speedy response! :)

Water parameters would help a lot. Usually API kits last about 3 years, if I remember correctly.
