A couple of my mollies have discoloring fins. I lost a Molly yesterday that appeared to be losing his color for a while. I’ve attached photos of a couple others. Some of the male guppies have rough looking fins also but they frequently pick on each other. Everyone seems to act fine with the exception of a couple platies that look kinda thin and seem to clamp their fins often. Any input is greatly appreciated!
40 gallon breeder has been running for two months after upgrading from a 20, 25-50% weekly water changes. Heavily planted, large driftwood, two fake driftwood looking rocks they can swim through. Fluval 307. I currently have 13 guppies, 3 mollies (one might actually be a lyretail sword), 3 danios, 3 adult platies + 10(ish) teenagers
, 2 super red plecos, 2 panda corys, 2 bumbleebee cats, 2 swordtails, 10 adult mystery snails and more babies than I can count. I do have a breeding box full of guppy fry and another breeding box with newly hatched snails so I’m hesitant to treat with medications. I know mollies tend to prefer a higher ph, and I’ve been trying to slowly raise it because of the snails too but can’t get it above 7.4
