Filter options for 46 Gallon Bowfront

So I am having SERIOUS trouble picking a canister filter for my new bowfront.
My options are:
Penn Plax Cascade 1000/1500
Eheim Classic 2215/2217
Hydor Professional 250/350

I really like the looks of the Hydor, the multiple trays and the performance of it, but I like the Eheim for it's price but it doesn't have trays, which is a pain for cleaning and I like the Penn Plax for it's price to performance ratio but it supposedly has water bypass issues and looks ugly in my opinon. Also, the Eheim comes with good filter media, meaning I don't have to spend another $30 on pond matrix, which is a HUGE savings for me on a $100 filter.

Tell me you're guys opinions, I know there will be a huge variety,
Mitch

I will watch this thread closely. I am in the same situation and can't decide on a cannister for my 55.

What are you stocking in this tank?

Not a fan of Fluval I assume?

I am going to do either 3 blood parrots and some danios or some angels and some Cardinal tetras (planted). I would like to over filter anyways though I can deal with a less powerful filter. And no, I am not really a fan of fluval, overpriced in my opinion.

Alright, well since no one responded to my post, I decided myself and went with the 2215 from Eheim. IF it is not enough, I will go pick up an aquaclear 50 or 70 to use aswell.
Thanks for all the help guys,
~Mitch
