Filter Current~

I can adjust my flow rate on my aquatech 5-15 filter by pulling up or pushing down the intake tube.

I was wanting to know what type of current does platy fish prefer? Fast? Slow like Betta Fish? Somewhere in the middle?

 

I don't think Platy's have a preference for a current. I have two Platy's and they are not interested in the current and tend to stay away from the hose when I am filling the tank. I would go with a medium current which will help keep the oxygen level healthy in your tank.

And be careful with adjusting the filter tube. I believe they are made to have the tube all the way down, not for adjusting. By the way, the aqua-tech 5-15 creates a medium flow at best. With a high water level (up to the lip of the outake), you will have a very soft flow.
