Fiddler crab - Update

Maybe this is not the correct category for this question but here's the deal. I found a male fiddler at Petco living in a fully fresh water completely aquatic tank a few weeks ago and I knew I had to save him. He was labeled assorted fiddler crab and I don't know exactly what type of crab he is. He has a 10 gal semi aquatic brackish tank and he was successful molted he is actually very brave and interactive with me but since his molt about 8 days ago he started his claw waving mating ritual thing and he doesn't have any tank mates. Of I could identify exactly what type of fiddler he is I'd love to find a female for him because he is just waving his little heart out and I feel bad..I love him. Also from my research it seems fiddlers are not usually very interactive and they burrow and hide alot but not Crabert. He's never burrowed even during any of the molting process. Any and all info is greatly appreciated.

Thank u it's actually a really funny story of how I figured out his name so long story short I had a super weird dream where crabbert at the time he was not named but he was a full size crab but he was a member of our family and he could talk like us and he was just like a normal person and I went to the mailbox in my dream and got a piece of mail out and it said address to crabbert milbert Jamal. And I was like who the heck is crabbard and the crab comes walking up to me in the house it's like oh that's me That's my whole name That's my government name lol So that's why I chose his name
This is the new female I just rescued from the pet store she's really really small she only has two legs on each side do you think she's going to make it

Okie dokie friends for my earlier post has been upgraded. I now have a 20 gal for my one huge male fiddler and today I rescued a tiny little female. She's missing legs and is smaller than a dime but she's quarantined currently but seems to be ok. When is a good time to add her to the new 20 gal with the male and is there anything did I need to watch out for or medicines to get?

I'd QT her to at least a week. Don't use meds if you don't have to. She will grow her legs back. Just make sure she's acting normal and eating. Awesome that you got him a upgrade!

Thank u. Well what should I be looking for as far as illness or sickness for her. I was going to QT for 2 weeks but I have definitely seen her eating and if she's so small it's like she hasn't even molded yet she's smaller than a dime so if there's anything that I need to know about crabs the small in general or general indicators to look out for for illness or stress if you have any of that information I would appreciate that thank you so much for your help

Pretty much just make sure she is active and eating. Check her leg nubs for any abnormalities or fungus. Make sure they start to grow back her next molt, the should look like tiny nubs. She should be just like caring for the other crab except for smaller food. I would keep her on a carnivore frozen food diet only until her legs are grown back. Your doing good, glad she is with you now. :)
