Fiber floss

I'm curious about fiber/floss I have a 100 peguin wheel by marineland and I heard that if you take the normal filter out and put in fiber floss it will work better. But what happens if you have to put meds in the tank do have to have carbon to get rid of the medication or can I just do a water change to the tank instead.

 

Yep I get my fiber floss at walMart Just keep a couple of filter pads or whatever you use with carbon in it handy to use if you have to remove meds.

My tank is almost cycled it I take out the pads now will my take recycle?

 

yep it would have to recycle. Stuff fiber floss behind your pads so it doesn't have to recycle then after about a month you can remove one pad then after awhile you can remove the other one(or leave them and the floss in). You can rinse the floss in old tank water to get debris out of it.
