Female Swordtail In Trouble In Labor Help

I currently have a female tuxedo sword tail in labor for the 4th time at least. She currently has 3 female fry about a month old. Currently she is pregnant, and having a lot of difficulty, I don't think she is going to make it. I have her in a net right now. She can't really swim. She was contracting earlier, but nothing coming out. It was suggested to massage her sides, but this has done nothing. There is no vet who can help, and I'm at a loss at what to do. She's always been a healthy fish, but this last one is doing her in. She's about 4 years old.

she also has swim bladder, ....... doing what I can including an epsom salt bath, seemed to help alleviate some of her pain.

so sad I lost her, did everything I could...... she left behind 3 beautiful fry that look just like her, I just buried her by my lavender plant.

I'm very sorry to hear you lost your fish. Sounds like you did quite an amazing job trying to help her - it just happens sometimes, however much that sucks. Four years is actually a decent age for a swordtail. It is great that you have some of her offspring though.

Sorry for your loss. Sounds like you gave her a great life And did everything you could to help. Her fry will carry on many more generations for you.
