Hi all, I am new to this forum and to the hobby. I’ve only started my tank in December 2020.
I need some advice regarding one of my guppies. I have a heavily planted 10 gallon guppy and shrimp tank. One of my females I fear has dropsy. At first I thought she was really pregnant but upon closer examination it appears her Gravid spot is quite small and she seems to have a clear bubble of liquid between her gravid spot and her spine. I’ve checked the water parameters almost every week and ammonia and nitrites are at 0. She is still very active and eating. She just looks like she will explode. All the other fish in the tank seem to doing fine. I’ve attached a photo, do you agree with my diagnosis? What should I do? Wait and see if she drops? Should I remove her from the tank? Or try to treat the take she’s in? Will aquarium salt suffice? I have a nano tank I could use as a hospital tank. What should I treat with? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
