Female Betta Fish Blowing Bubbles

My female betta fish seems to blow bubbles all the time! Is this bad? I was watching and for a while she seemed to go to the bottom of the tank, then swim up really fast, and blow a bubble, and she's got like five bubbles in a row. I thought maybe she was making a bubble nest but I don't know she's seemed to have moved on from it. Is she just happy? Or trying to get air.

its not unusual for a female to blow bubble nests, its actually a good sign that they are happy.

If shes swimming to the top of the tank and blowing bubbles shes breathing the oxygen in the air. Betta fish have a labyrinth organ that makes them be able to breathe air.
