I have read that blanching vegetables is how to serve it to your fish. I have Cory cats, Kuhli Loaches, BN and rubberlip Plecos, Otos, mollys, tetra, gourami and hatchet fish. So my question is what vegetables and how big of pieces would be good? And which of my fish would like it the most?

Plecos would love cucumber. My Cory cats also love bananas. As for size, a piece of cucumber the size of a half dollar would work

Yes! Bristlenose plecos need to be provided with fresh veggies at least three times a week, they love zucchini and cucumber best, but I have known them to eat squash and other vegetables as well.

Do I need to blanch them? I just want to make sure I’m doing it right

    Some people do.
I personally do not. They last longer in the tank if they are not blanched first. And plecos have no problems eating it NOT blanched. Even little baby plecos.

I have read that cucumber isn't nearly as nutritious for them as zucchini, so I always lean towards the zucchini. But there is a long list of veggies AND fruits that people have fed to their plecos.

What other fish will eat the zucchini
