Feeding Time!!

    I know, when I bought him, the guy told me to make sure and feed him only 2 minnows a day. That way he doesnt get lazy. IT WORKS! He is crazy when I drop that minnow in there.

    Thanks guys n gals. I have named him Pik. Because if i put 2 minnows in there, he always will inspect each one, then PICKS the one he wants lol. Its pretty entertaining.

    He is a needlenose gar, he will only get to about 2 inches, and dont get all inhumane on me lol, cause i have a bigger tank he can go into when he gets bigger.

    I believe the gar you are talking about it the alligator gar, which gets like 3 to 4 feet in length. That would be crazy, but nearly impossible in even a 300 gallon tank. And alligator gars are illegal to own in most states anyway.
