Feeding Question

how often do u all feed your fish? I’ve always fed once daily but on the back of the food containers it says either 2 or 3 times daily. Also, I bought some tubiflex worms and shrimp pellets.. can those be fed everyday? Or occasionally? I feed flakes daily. They all seem to go nuts over the shrimp pellets though. I’m BAD for overfeeding my fish *sigh*. I can never measure out how much to really feed :-(

Yeah, once daily. I feed mine around the same time very morning. Its good to keep them on a scheduled BTW. You can feed those other foods daily but that will possible get expensive.

 

It all depends on stocking and tank size, how often you water change, the size of your fish. All that good stuff.

 

I feed ever other day. Fish are good and tank stays a lot cleaner. Btw, I have going 10 days with out feeding and had no issues. I don’t do this often but my point is fish can go with out eating every day with no issues.

Same here, I feed once every 2 days. Keeps my tanks way cleaner with no negative effects
