Feeding Fish Right Amount?

In my 36 gallon, I have
9-10 albino Cory cats
9 harlequin rasboras
2 platys
1 molly
1 dwarf gourami
1 guppy

I first feed the bottom feeders, which are the the 9 corys. One of the platys and molly also eat the bottoms feeder food. I drop in 3-4 shrimp pellets once a day. Then I feed the rasboras, gourami, other platy, and guppy. I give them enough food that they can eat in about 90ish seconds (I’ve never counted, and I’m not good at estimating time at all, so this is just an approximate guess). I also have two snails, but I don’t have any algae wafers.

I would throw in about 15 sinking pellets a day for the cories and for the other fish I would fill a small cup with water add in a pinch of fish flakes and stir then pour it into the aquarium so all the fish re able to eat their fare share and the snails will eat the excess flakes, but I would recommend blanching some squash or cucumber and placing a slice of each in the tank during the afternoon.
P.S. my mystery snails LOVE blanched cherries

No need to estimate time as there are a variety of devices available with which to measure time accurately.

As a guide, a Neon Tetra requires 1/2 flake per day and a goldfish 4 1/2 flakes per day. Source:

15? Idk about that, they’re not normal pellets, much larger.

O wow I might be overfeeding I think my rasboras get like 2 flakes a day (albeit I crush the flakes up into really small pieces but that’s just a guess).

Yes I was about to say the same thing as redshark1...There are plenty of time-measuring devices, including possibly your phone's count-down timer or even just the clock. No need to feel unsure about what your timing is.

As for food, just keep observing and making sure everyone is in good health. There are things that the snails and bottom feeders eat that we don't see as food, but make sure to give them their share of the food, too. Like you said, your pellets and flakes may be different from what we're thinking, so the measurement of food and timing is up to you and what you have observed.

You can reduce your feeding down until your fish start getting visibly thinner and then increase the feeding again to the right level.

Its amazing how little they need to maintain bodyweight.

Most of us overfeed, but it is necessary to do this to some extent in order to make sure our weakest fish get enough to survive.

The trick is not to overfeed more than strictly necessary.
