Hi, I was just wondering if it would be okay to feed by betta small ramshorn snails. I have a separate community tank that has quite a few, and i've heard of people feeding them to their bettas. Just wondering it that would be okay, thanks :)

If you made the effort to squish them, the betta might go for them (depends on the betta). But to just add them whole and living, highly unlikely your betta will care.

My female bettas have learned to grab ramshorn, trumpets and bladder snails then rip them out of their shells. If you are thinking they will eat the smaller snails whole then best not to do that. I've seen my own bettas poop out entire baby trumpet snails so it's safe to say they cannot digest the shells. I'd worry about blockages and such. Most bettas are smart enough to not eat the snail shell, but most bettas don't bother eating snails at all either.
