Feeding A Mystery Snail

Got a gold mystery snail want to know what's good to feed him. I Feed my betta fish pellets 4 a day and he gobbles them right up so my mystery snail is not getting any leftover fish food in the tank does anyone have any recommendations as to what kind of algae wafers I should get and what kind of food I should get him maybe thinking sinking pellet fish food?

If you eat veggies you can try some and see if the snail likes any of them! Zucchini, cucumber, red peppers, green beans were all favourites with mine.

 

You don't have to but any special food, basically anything you eat you can feed your snail. Cooked veggies (broccoli, cucumber, asparagus, etc) are a favorite, but I also feed leftover or raw fish/shrimp, occasional (peeled) grapes, or cooked chicken. They eat almost everything.
If you want to go with algae wafers, I would recommend hikarI brand and go with the high protein variety (as in, don't get the one labeled "algae")

Glad he liked it!

Just make sure the cucumber doesn't start to rot if you leave it in there too long (usually starts after 48hrs in the tank) so generally smaller, more frequent meals are better than the occasional large meal. Good luck!
