Want To Sell Feeder Snails!

Got a hungry puffer? Got a loach that likes snails? Just want some snails? I have a lot of snails right now that I can ship you. Unless you’re in a very chilly part of the country, shipments will be going out with a cold pack. Bladder snails are $5.00 for 50 or $10.00 for 100; if you want ramshorns, I have plenty of smaller ones right now (up to half an inch), $5 for 25. These are brown or leopard ramshorns; reds and blues are $1.50 for 5. MTS are priced the same as bladder snails.
Tell me what size snails you want - right now I have smaller bladder snails, not a lot of really big ones, but plenty of ramshorns and MTS. If I’ve sold out for the week, I will have more next week - just ask!
This week we have a special on a “Breeder Box” of snails; you can get either bladder snails only, or bladder snails with MTS, ramshorns or both, as many as will fit in a priority mail shoebox with a cold pack, for $10.00 plus shipping. These will be mixed sizes, perfect for starting your own snail colony. This is a lot of snails, at least 150 if you elect the bladder-snail-only option. PM with your zip code if interested. Note: Ramshorns included in this deal will be mixed brown and leopard.

Okay, pretty much cleared out of larger bladder snails now (thank you to my customers!). If anyone wants smaller snails (eighth to under a quarter inch), please let me know right away if you want a shipment this week, as I ship on Tuesday. There will, of course, be plenty more next week.

Snails are $5.00 for fifty, $10.00 for a hundred, plus shipping: at this time of year shipping will generally run around $12 due to needing a slightly larger box with a heat pack, but weather permitting I may be able to use the small flat-rate box and no heat pack. Tell me what size snails you want - right now I have lots of adult snails and pretty much every smaller size as well. I have a hundred going out on Tuesday and at least another hundred available, and there’ll be more in another week.

Are they medium to large sized?

 

They are decent-sized bladder snails. When I get home I can take a better inventory. I would say the largest ones I have are a third of an inch or so, but I am not sure how many of those I have.
Home again, took a quick look and I would say there’s at least fifty in the quarter to third of an inch range.

While the good weather lasts - as many snails as I can pack into a small flat rate box with bubble wrap around them.
Not sure yet how many that is, but somewhere between 75 and a hundred is my guess. You get ‘em at the introductory rate of $14.00 shipped.
These will be bladder/pond snails. If you want a few ramshorns or MTS tossed in, let me know how many and what size. I can do up to ten ramshorns with your bladder snails or any number of MTS up to and including a whole boxful.

Yes, the special is still running, and temperatures in your area look good. As in medium to large bladder snails? I should be able to do that, or I can make part of the total ramshorns - got a bunch of those at about the shell length of a big bladder snail or a bit bigger. Can probably skew it more to larger sizes if I add in ramshorns. Let me know. For bladder snails it seems to come to somewhat over a hundred total.

I have plenty in the 1/4 to 1/3 inch range. Not a lot over that, but I’m baiting the tanks again and I can probably pull out a few more really big guys. If that works for you I’ll plan to ship on Tuesday.
