Hi,

I am looking to set up a QT tank/feeder shrimp tank (for my Oscar and eel as treats) / reserve plant tank for the 2 tanks I already have up and running. I was looking at getting a 10 gallon since what I plan on quarantining in it are basically new plants, feeder shrimp, and the occasional fish.
Can anyone advise me on how many shrimp I could have comfortably in a 10 gallon and if a 10 gallon is large enough for them to breed in?

10g is ideal but if your go to breed ghost you'll need another tank as they will eat their young, you put the mother in the spare tank just before she gives birth then move her back to the main tank as soon as she gives birth. The young can be moved to the main tank when big enough
