    Hi there,

Just wondering if anyone has had many issues with tetras nipping the fins on blue Rams and featherfin rainbows?

I wanted to add 5 flameback bleeding heart tetras?

Your feather fins are gorgeous! I wouldn't put tetras in there just because they can be nippy, and I wouldn't want to torture the feather fins...

What ARE those? Besides beautiful that is.

Hyphessobrycon pyrrhonotus is smaller than the other Bleeding Heart species, and my experience was that they would not be likely to be nippers. It might seem like the filaments on a Featherfin could look rather tempting to even a non-nipper. I have kept Iriatherina with other species of Tetras, however, and they seem to be very good at staying out of the way.

It's actually my female gbr that nips at my Serpae tetras... she's half their size but feisty as anything

I think you would be safe if you did something like ember tetras.....
