Featherfin Squeaker Update

My featherfin has been doing so well so I decided to post a little update. He had a bit of fin rot but his fins have grown so much since I got him.

 

Nice, feather fin catfish are great, I have mine in a 60 gallon planted aquarium, he sometimes chews on the plant leaves though.

There pretty nice, I get them when there about 1" and trade them in when about 4-5", I have 3 left the biggest is about 4". All of the one I have had are pigs when eating.

Mine is about 5 years old and around 8 inches

 

Will he come to the top and eat all the food on the surface? I've only had one that would do it, my tanks are not big enough to keep any that get big.

He eats at the top and the bottom, he is pretty brave lol

 

Here is a picture of mine, he never goes to the top, I guess any food there would immediately be snatched up by the killifish and congo tetras that I keep him with.
