Favorite platy color?

What is everybodies favorite platy color? I like the black calico platys.

i'd like to combine the pattern of a peppermint platy with the color of a blue platy and give it a wag tail.

 

The yellow and red ones.

 

I'm a big fan of the pure white ones with the mickey mouse pattern. The stark difference of the black on the white, very stunning.

those do sound beautiful. i've not seen that coloring with the mickey mouse pattern, but I wonder if we'll get any like that from our platys.

I think I got two of the fry (courtesy of my lovely coworkers), that look to be that variety. If they turn out to be gold, so help me... There will be a reckoning. Or.. I'll just have two gold platies. They're about 1/3 inch now, and they don't show even a bit of coloring yet, so I'm taking that as a good sign.

 

the male gold twinbar that we have is a real light gold and we have 2 blue mickey mouse females, so i'm hoping to get blue or white mickey mouse fry if they produce fry.

I've seen one in a Dutch book called pepper and salt. It was gorgeous. Don't know what you'd call that in English. It was sunset orange, but covered with black dots of various sizes.

They look more grayish, with a blue irridescent sheen. Very pretty in the right lighting, but not the most colorful.

sounds like a dalmation platy.

 

I think silver is a more accurate color description of the blues.
