I don’t have any but I love dojo loaches, although kuhlis r right behind

 

Dojo. who wouldn't fall for a face like that?

 

I love dojos and kuhlis, its a hard toss up between the two. I really love any of the loaches that are more snake/eel like in appearance. But the dojos are just so personable. I love how they have no qualms about coming right up to me when I have my arm in the tank and checking me out. But the kuhlis are just so stinking cute with their bands and short little round faces. I also love how distinct the kuhli's individual markings are. P. Semicincta are incredibly variable in their markings, and I like being able to tell my individuals in a group apart.

I’ve always wanted a couple of these guys, but I’ve heard that they are cold water

 

I like the eel like loaches, Kuhli, Java, and Dojo(Havn't owned any but will soon be getting Java for my 24) and I also like YoYo's.

Is that yellow one a Loach also? It looks like one of the Bichirs sold at my LFS.

 

Dojo loach are surprisingly adaptable to temp. I've kept them at 80 for years. You could do them in a community at 76 or 78 easily enough. Does it shorten their life? Maybe. But then the ones I kept at 80 are at least six years old so... Cant shorten it too much.

I love dojos and kuhlis. I keep both. Great fish. Very entertaining to watch.

I keep panda loaches, so they’re my favorites, LOL!

 

Mine are Dojo loaches and then Kuhli's - the kuhli's aren't as social but I love how they, glass surf" at night

Hey! Maybe they’re not banned in Canada.

 

I think it has already been introduced to Canada and is present in many areas including Manitoba.

YES!! Dojo’s are banned so I need to find a new favourite loach that I can actually get ahold of.
