Fat betta?

    This may seem like an odd question but is it possible for a betta to get far? I don't mean swim bladder disease or anything, just fat... Do fish even get fat?! It just seems like the older my first betta Kiedis gets, the... chunkier... he gets :-/

    Hi and welcome.
    Yes, fish can get fat but they can also get constipated. There are also a number of diseases that "look" fat. You might try to feed less or less often and see if it helps but before you do that, you might want to post a clear picture so others may be able to see what you are seeing.

    He's a big male, but he doesn't look fat. Try doing side pictures.
