Ok, long story short, I found another dojo loach!! Conditions were he buddy had to come with and seeing as Jupe is in QT and my 65 is SO empty, this tiny little guy is in there right now. I’ll have to rehome him just becuase of the shear size difference between Jupe and this guy but for now, it’s nice to have a little orange in my tank again.

Redcap oranda?

Looks nice!

I like the splotch of orange behind his head hump. Most redcap orandas are just with their red cap and white bodied. Never seen one of this coloration.

He’s adorable but SO small! Jupe is a big softee so he *might* stick around. We’ll see what happens.

Maybe half of jupe’s length including tail? He’s pushing 7” and it’s guy is maybe 3? (Sounds like he’s 4 years old )

Oh I know. gonna fatten the new guy up. Poor guy dosen’t know what to do with all that space. Him and the goldy were both in a 3 gallon, no filter.
