Dont know anything about this but, if they were on sale on Amazon UK I might have to consider getting one. A very neat idea, if it works well, that is. I hope someone can help out here for you.

Dan.

I'm tempted to get one, this the first I've seen this product. I have the old school drip product, but sort of like this one because I don't have to have a bucket on the side of my aquarium

I don't know if it matters to you - it doesn't to some - but you've been spelling angles, which is what you'd find on a triangle. I think you mean angels.

So I tried it today and it works as you'd expect the drip adjustment is very touchy but with a fine touch you can get it right where you want it.

Set up and break down is nothing all and all ill like it and am glad I got it much cheaper then any other acclamater I was able to find

How big of a bag can it hold?

Any sizethe bag I just used was the biggest iv gotten cause my lfs was out of small bags.

but what you do is if you go back to the link I provided up there a few days ago in the pic you'll see a green peace with arrows and behind the arrows is a loop you pass the bag through the loop about 2 inches and fold the top over and pierce on the arrows so the bag can't slip off.

then float the bag and hook on to the frame that is hooked to your tank so the loop on the green peace is now an open bag and the drip cup hangs over that and drop drop drop.

I dripped about 30 mins and just over doubled the water volume then put a net over my sink and dumped fish (3 yellow lab fish) in to net and put in tank.

I'll see if I can find a youtube video and edit the post with a link

here you go hope this helps at the end of the day its all kinda cheap feeling plastic but for $20.00 I'm happy and think you will be to if you decide to get one yourself

The product is pretty good and I have two, since most of the time I bring home at least two bags, so maybe I should get one more just in case...

Several reviews are at YouTube:

To summarize: Cheap, effective, and save a lot of nervous handling while introducing new fishes.

Once again I have made a video review of a product that I think is worth having.

In case you can't watch the video, here are the cliff notes.

1) it utilizes the bag that your fish store uses to give you your fish in, so no buckets!

2) flow rate is adjustable for a wide variety of aquatic life

3) aclimates for your tanks water parameters and temperature at the same time.

Airline tube with a knot and a small plastic container will accomplish the same thing for less than $1. Just saying.

Well it's that a handy dandy gadget.
It doesn't seem convenient to remove some of the water when the bag gets too full though.

Acclimating that slowly is very rarely needed. Unless the water the fish are in has high PH, and are being put into water with low PH. Just getting the temperature close before putting them in the tank is sufficient.

I put an airline regulator in mine to make life al little easier and control drip speed. EricV

This is a neat gadget. It's ultimately the reason I did the airline thing because I was doing the half cup at a time every 15 min and that's aggravating. The airline was just cheaper

I've done acclimation with just a bag on top of the Water, adding small amounts of water to the bag over time, and the drip acclimation system that I have right now. My fish always appear to be much more satisfied with the transfer when I used a slow drip acclimation.

This is exactly what I do, airline tubing and a small bucket.

Glad you found something that works for you though!

I do it with a container floating in the tank with 2 airline hoses (long and short). The short hose is filled with water (no air) and goes from tank water to inside the container. The long hose goes from inside the container to a bucket on the floor with a valve attached. As the water from the container gets slowly drained drip by drip it gets replaced by tank water from the short hose. I consider the container water considerably replaced if I get twice that amount in the bucket. After that you can just pour the entire container and fish in the tank. There's no netting stress too.

Very nice. May have to use this.

Do you need to partly empty the bag out first? Seems like you wouldn't get too much of the tank water in if the bag is already mostly full of LFS water.

I always empty about 60-70% of the bag water before I add tank water
