I've got a bunch of these guys. I know that there have been numerous posts of people trying to get their hands on them in the past. They're great for stirring up sand beds, and I've never had them eat any plants (of course, I've also never had my pond snails eat any plants).
I'm "selling" them in groups of 5 for $1. Really, the cost is just to cover shipping materials and postage. I will not accept Paypal for this, as it would cost too much to redeem the $1 for it to be worthwhile to me. I will take cash (one dollar isn't likely to get lost in the mail) or a check.
Because pet stores don't often sell these guys, this is meant to be a way for people to start their own colonies. Even one MTS in a tank is likely to populate it, given time (they breed asexually). Five pretty much guarantees you'll have an endless string of them.
One caveat, because this topic has produced a number of people trying to bypass the B/S/T rules in the past, I will not sell MTS to anyone who contacts me, either in this thread, another thread, or in my visitor messages, before they have 50 posts. This is, in part, to avoid having to delete a whole bunch of messages, but it's mostly to remind people that the 50 post requirement is a rule that we need to keep. If you don't have 50 posts but you want snails, take some time to ask some questions, answer some questions, or post pictures of your fish, and then contact me afterward.
It's not quite warm enough to start shipping yet, but I want to get an idea of who needs them, so I can get the shipping supplies ready.
