Everybody Please Share How Many $usd You Spent On Each Of The Fish That You Bought

You've got a choice here of shops that gouge you on the price of fish or eBay that gouges you on the price of delivery.

I can't get 10 bloody Mary cherry shrimp for under £30 without paying an extra £12 or £15 for delivery, so £45 for 10 shrimp.

Average fish delivery is £8 to £12

Bettas at peta at home are £16, Endlers are £6 each. Neons about £2.50 a pop at my LFS

The price of fish is insane.

 

Had a fishstore overcharge me for a female betta, $23!! But her soroity mates were 3.48, 2.50, and .98. My male bettas ranged from $5 to $15, and I have a neon and guppy tank that was about $12 for a school of neons and three male gups.

 

Betta 1 -$9
Betta 2 - $9
Albino BN Pleco 2" - $13
Angelfish - $40 (for the breeding pair)

 

My very short and simple list:

$1 each for neon tetra
$3 each for cardinals
$3 for mystery snail
$2.50-4 each for common short fin molly

At this point I probably wouldn't want to spend more than $15 for a single fish and it would have to be bought from a reliable source and special, like a fish I've been wanting and have done some nitty gritty serious research on.

Erm gotta add to this list now $24 for 5 CPD's

 

I once spent $64 AUD ($50 USD) on an imported Koi HMPK Betta. I have also bought some corals for about $75

male veiltail betta $7
male half-moon twin tail betta $9
female half-moon betta $3
those are some current ones

 

Mr. Big was $7 from Pet Supermarket
5 of my girls were $4
1 of my girls was $10
Bam bam was $6
My pleco Mr. Rogers was $4
My 2 snails were $6
And about $3 for my non-feeder guppies
