I wasn't sure where to put this. I found some in my jarrarium and decided to stick it under one of my microscopes. It was more gross than I anticipated lol

Mosquito larvae are some of my favorite live food to use. It's an awesome conditioner. Very cool to see one magnified.

I used to feed mosquito larvae, then I got Hydra. Now I'll never feed live food unless it is from a controlled culture indoors. I did love it though! It was fascinating watching the wigglers develop into pupa! Every now and then I would get an elephant mosquito and release it back into the wild.
