Ever Bought From Upscale Aquatics?

I’ve never heard of this online store before. I found them when I was google searching pictures of fish to draw. They have a HUGE selection of fish but well... it seems a little fishy (sorry for the pun lol). If they’re a big enough farm or importer that they have that kind of selection, why haven’t I come across them before? Also their pictures of the fish for sale are very washed out and skinny, like they took the pictures right after they opened the shipment and plopped them in the tank. I don’t see why a good retailer wouldn’t have decent pictures of the fish they sell.... I guess I kinda just made up my own mind about why I shouldn’t order from them haha but I was wondering if anyone knows of them and has actually bought from them. Are they legit?

 

Contact them and ask for picture of the fish take at that moment. Usually if they give a photo thats a sign they are legit and the quality of the fish can also be determined.

Well, it does appear they are indeed a real store, seems like they're more known for saltwater stuff. Reviews seem generally favorable. It looks like they have only just started doing online shipping, which would explain why no one has heard of them as an online seller. They mention at the bottom of the homepage that their site isn't set up to do online orders yet, you have to call to place an order.

The worst thing about them is their typeface choice for the images in the shop categories. Thousands of options and they went with Marker Felt. Yikes.

 

Hi! This is actually an LFS that I've been to several times. They do have a large selection in store. Can't speak for their online ordering, but I assure you they're legit
