Essential Medications To Always Have On Hand

As I am getting closer to finally stocking my 75 gallon tank, I was wondering what essential medications does everyone always like to have on hand? I know that sometimes time is of the essence and we have to order some of these meds. Would like to have a medicine chest ready, so to speak.

 

Hello. I like to keep Metronidazole Powder, Nutrofuracin Green , Melafix, & API Aqaurium Salt.

 

I personally have on hand: Melafix, Kanaplex, Furan 2, Aquarium Salt and Carbon for my filter (removes medications after you're done). All of mine were purchased to be used right away though, not as a preparation but I wish I had your mind set when I was starting my tank! would have saved me a lot of running around

 

I like to keep on hand a few hundred gallons of clean, fresh water of the correct temperature, for frequent and large volume water changes. It's my go-to solution for most problems...and if you go-to it regularly, you'll have few problems to begin with.
