Wanted to add to my 45 gallon which is planted and has shrimps and snails. Will it hurt any of them?

Why would you want to put it in?

I heard it is good for the fish digestion and water. I have some thai guppy fry with posible parasite/bacteria. Lethargic, white poop, some not eating that have been quarantined. Others are still in display.

I used to have put a table spoon of aquarium salt per 10 gallons of water for 2 years never had a problem with illness or constipated fish.
