Endler breeding and identification?

So I’ve been reading around for a bit and looking at s about endlers to find out how to identify different patterns or colors that appear on the different “versions” and how to tell if they are pure endlers or hybrids of guppies and endlers. Some people say you need to have endlers for a long time to figure out different types or if they are hybrids. I didn’t buy these endlers because the only endlers I ever found were online and expensive or at petsmart and all the guppies that were in the tank with them looked like they had ich. I bought a 3 feeder guppies that looked plump and healthy at a lfs and one had fry so I saved them and out of seven fry 5 or 7 survived and they are now nearing adulthood or are adults. I just put them in a larger empty 20 gallon long because I now have a new batch of guppy fry. They school together most of the time and the males have one long orange stripe at the top and and in the middle a thicker iridescent greenish blue stripe that starts at the eyes and goes to the Tail. The males usually do what endlers do with there little dance. Also I was wondering if I could still breed them even though they are related or if it would cause unhealthy children and I should add the other female endler/guppies to the group. I will post a picture of them later but the water is a little murky because I uprooted some plants and I had to search for one of the new fry because I accidentally transferred it to the wrong tank. Thanks for any information.

Breeding parents with their fry usually doesn't result in any harm, but you have to watch for bent spines. Bent spines are usually a result in inbreeding, so keep that in mind.

If you want more genetic variation and healthy guppies / endlers, you might want to introduce more of them (that aren't related). Your endlers sound beautiful, though!

Thankyou the mother was separated after they were born and her fry were really big and there were only seven which was weird, the fry that were born were darker in color and about 2 times larger than the other batch that was born a week before. Is that something that happens with endlers or was it a late birth? I’ll try and get more endlers from the lfs and if you have had petsmarts lyre tail endlers would you recommend them to add more genetic variation and are they healthy? Thanks

Lyretail endlers would add a lot more genetic variation.

You do not have endlers if they have been dropped by guppy females. Feeder males can look petite like endler but are not. Nor are they hybrids (the closest the chain stores will get is the "tiger endler" which is sometimes just a smaller yellow with stripes guppy male).
All male guppies will dance and wiggle, it is just easier to see on the smaller males with less fins.

They were not dropped by guppy females they were dropped by female endlers. The ones I have definitely have endler in them. But thanks for your input.

They are definitely not pure endlers though.

You stated in the original post you got three feeder guppies, which are just guppies, not endlers and do not have endler blood, they are pure guppy species (closer to wild than fancy of course, but they are not endler).
You can generally breed several generations of livebearer without running into the issue of bent spines and other deformities, unless the strain has already been bred several generations without adding any new blood (like with many fancy guppy strains), being that they are feeder guppies they are more leeway than a fancy guppy or a tank kept strain of true (pure) endler.
