I got back from errands and noticed my red betta was on my blue betta's side of the tank. Giant bubble nest and I knew something was wrong. Blue betta is on the bottom of the tank, laying on his side gasping for air. Tail in pieces, bite marks all over, on his side. I transferred him over to a smaller container so he can breathe at the top. I'm so upset. The divider was warped and had a gap. It wasn't like that yesterday or even earlier today when I fed them. It looked like it buckled. Now he's just on the bottom of the container breathing heavily. He can't stay afloat. Gils are twitching independently of each other instead of at the same time. I'm going to go to the LFS to grab a smaller more permanent container for him. Please help, I don't know if he's going to make it what can I do for his wounds??
He's gone. He just died

Might have been too late for this one when you found him anyway, but things like aquarium salt are nice to have around to at least start treating wounds such as these, for the future.

Sorry it got so nasty and fatal :(
