    Good evening,

I recently noticed that 2 out of my 5 EBA have formed a pair and they both tend to have their dorsal fin and tail fin flared often than before. I was wondering if this normal for a paired up EBA's?

I am a total amateur but from what I know about cichlids in general it seems like that would be the case. Fire mouths do it too.

I'm still new to cichlids and and this is my first time trying care for them, currently I have 5 EBA in a 55g with some corydoras and they coexist very nicely. I am looking into upgrading to a 75g planted tank with more plants than I already have and proper substrate for the plants. I will be calling what ever substrate that I get with pool filter sand or bdbs.

Looks really nice! I've had a few cichlids in the past but this is my first serious cichlid tank. Right now it's three FMs, two angels and a krib. Wish I had the patience for plants but that's not happening.
