eggs on shell?

    i think my silly ramshorn snail, red, laid eggs on her own shell!

    are they ok where they are til they hatch? should i try and remove them?

    Are there other snails in the tank with her?
    If so most likely they are eggs from another snail.
    They will be fine where they are until they hatch.

    there arent any other snails. she got moved into the orange shrimp tank 4 days ago....no eggs on her shell. these appeared while i was at work today, i didnt notice them when i took her out of the food shell to wipe it out before putting fresh food into it {my shrimp aviod food thats been snail slimed}

    That's very strange I kho other snails will lay eggs on the shells of another but i have never heard/seen one do it to its self... it could be possible if the were to St reach all the way out of her shell and reach her back, I have seen my rams do it a bunch but only when they fall on their backs and can't grip anything...

    And just leave them where they are :) they are safest on her back anyways!
