Eggs All Over The Roots Of My Anubias

Hey there. I just looked into my tank and discovered lots of little white dots covering my Anubias and its accompanying driftwood. Coincidentally, I have also recently added both a Bolivian ram pair and some nerite snails. I’m not entirely certain on the sex of the Bolivians, although it’s entirely possible that I have a m/f pair. The eggs are solid white. Can someone help me ID these eggs? Are they the work of the nerites or bolivian rams?

Woohoo! Just noticed that there is a cluster of them on the other side of the tank as well and there is a suspicious nerite chilling right next to them

Well they won’t hatch in freshwater so really it’s just decorative lol, unless you scrape them off. I leave mine though, they don’t bother me like they do some people.

I feel the same way. I leave the eggs. They are really hard to remove anyway. Nerite Snails are great cleaners and reproduction is normal. I feel like they must be happy if they are laying eggs! They seem to prefer to lay on the rocks in my tank...

Mine laid on the wood too before I removed it. I will scrape them off my glass if any happen to appear there.

Awesome name, btw! :smug:
