Ebay driftwood

I was looking for some more driftwood to add to my aquarium. I looked in pet stores, but they only had 5-inch pieces for $20 or so. Someone suggested Ebay, and I found some really cheap and good looking stuff. Anyone have success buying high-quality Ebay driftwood (has to deliver to Canada)?

I bought a piece off Ebay. Was very pleased with it. The seller I bought from had several other pieces listed.

big box and LFS have terrible (small) wood offerings. I have considered Ebay, local aquarium/fish club bulk orders, and the hive of scum and villainy Etsy (for big cholla.. I suspect wood eating plecos might go for cholla as it should grow stuff in it faster than a regular log? I should ask in the pleco section before buying a beast sized piece).

Let us know how Ebay goes and if allowed please mention the vendor if it goes well.

eBay will be fine. Maybe Amazon?

I purchased a piece manzanita off eBay a year ago. It's for a tank I haven't set up yet, though. It has been soaking this whole time. The piece sent was definitely what was in the pic. All measurements accurate. Can't wait to get it in a tank!!!!!

This is who I got it from

I don't know about shipping to Canada though.

I've bought driftwood off AliExpress before! Small pieces cost me ~$1.25 USD. I bought two in case one was ugly, which ended being an excellent idea because one of them looks like a pair of legs... but the other one is awesome! I plan on reselling the ugly one after some moss has grown on it.

I have only ever bought it second hand from a variety of places.

The colour can be hard to tell but some were amazing value. Mine were mostly used in old tanks so I attempted to sterilise them with saltwater or baking them.

Would highly recommend second hand for all things fish tank. The other thing I did was look at tanks for sale nearby and offer to buy only the driftwood from it for £10 or so - very good value.
