Just to add, crypts are easy as long as you don't move them (they don't like that). They're nice and bushy and get over 4" tall.
I love, love my bacopa. Its more of a background plant and will slowly grow up to the top. The leaves that are near the light turn reddish and it sends out new shoots from the bottom that you can then plant elsewhere.

What are some hardy, easy to care for plants? I have root tabs already that I can use any liquid co2......
I have a 55 gallon with a mix of tetras and was thinking of adding Cory too
Here is a link to an article I put together on getting started with low light / low tech planted tank. It has lists of a lot of the easier plants, as well as a lot of good info to get you started on the right foot....
Hi! I'm new to the live plant world newbie and have had success with Amazon sword, Java ferns, Anubias, moss balls, and Anacharis. I would say I have had the most success with Anacharis. Seems to grow super easy and fast. I am constantly trimming them, sticking them in the gravel, and they will grow from the cuttings. Good luck!
