easy egg laying fish?

there's many, it's easier to figure out which fish you like the most and then study up on how well it breeds in tank. I've read of convicts being bred for feeders so there really is a wide spectrum. They are apparently easy because they have good nurturing instincts so they take care of their eggs.

If you are looking to breed fish to sell locally then just make a trip to the LFS in the area and see what they do and don't have, or just call them and ask them if/what they will buy.

ok i will do that but in the meantime what do you suggest (i dont really want cichlids they are too mean...

A pair of Angels are would be great for 30g

Keep in mind its not putting 2 fish into a tank and having them breed it requires effort and time And also skill

You could have some Goodied There a livebearer and there a species that wont eat there fry. Or maybe Barbs or Apistos

Are the egg layers going into a community tank? Do you have a separate breeding tank for them?

yes but those are livebearers and i want totry some egg laying fish do you have any suggestions for those? i do like those fish too.

they are cichlids aren't they i don't want cichlids. i want something really peaceful

if i go with corries they stay at the bottom of the tank, i will have more than 1 species in the tank..

But having 2 species tank is harder because if have another species they might eat there eggs

What about brisile nose plecos?

lets get back to barbs. what type of barb is the easiest? oh and what about rainbow fish???
