Easiest Plants To Grow/sell

I've been in the aquarium hobby for a while and I just had my first patch of guppies born last week. Out of the 12 I caught in time 10 remain alive. I don't have any local pet stores near me. Closest is about 35 minutes. And as much as I thought I'd enjoy breeding Bettas or other fish and keeping some and selling others, I don't have many options of selling them and it just isn't what I want to do anymore. I don't want to profit off of fish right now id rather enjoy them until I learn more and am ready to. However, plants are easier to sell online and ship as opposed to fish. What are easy to grow/fast growing plants I could start growing to keep for myself and possibly sell? Preferably ones that don't need all of the CO2 equipment and can happily live in a filtered and heated tank

 

Java ferns and duckweed are both easy to grow. Java fern are easy to grow and duckweed will cover your entire tank in a month. The problem is if the plant is easy to grow, there would be many people selling it/giving it away for free.

 

Do Aponageton Ulvaceus, mine grew 14" tall in 2 weeks or a Nymphaea Rubra(Didn't know it was meant for ponds until recently), grew 16" in a week.

 

Try Anubias. It does not grow fast (about a leaf a month), but it is very hardy, ships easy and is expensive. I've never seen people giving away Anubias for free.

 

Anubias is a good one, specially if you have rare types (like pinto, white, or pangolino) they are slow growers, but mine are more like a leaf a week, not a month - but they like my tanks (I have a lancelotta that has three new leaves on it since last weekend).

 

Most carpet plants are an easy sell because they have a very high demand.

 

I find hygrophila siamensis 53b grows fast with just ferts
