So I was at my pet store last week and I saw that they had some new fish in stock. They had a few new species like "Dwarf Rasboras". I was wondering if they will be fine with cherry shrimp? I have a 10 gallon Cherry shrimp tank that has been running for 2 years and is heavily planted. I wanted to add a small school of the Dwarf Rasboras. Any help is appreciated :). Thanks!

    Those are very pretty!

I'm not really an expert on overstocking, but I think you could probably do just 6 (since they're schooling) with the shrimp since shrimp have very little bioload.

I would think they'd be fine. Basically the same size as cpds and I think they act similarly.

Yeah, they're fine in a 10g. The thing is, they aren't "Microrasbora" erythromicron anymore, they're now Danio erythromicron. They might eat baby shrimp.

No might they will eat baby shrimp but since your colony is established it should be fine

Well I do have a strong colony in the 10 gallon. I might add a small school. You think 6 will be good?

Yes, imo up to 12 would be fine, too as long as there's no other fish.

I probably go atleast 10 personally as their behavior is like cpds and cpds can be shy. And just to make the.choice more difficult you could also add some darios as long as you dont mind your colony not growing as they only eat live food but they are so fun to watch hunting shrimp.
